For years I fed the sheep in the barn and then spend weeks cleaning the barn out - Now I don't give em hay in the barn. I feed all hay out in the field till they are near lambing and then they can come in the barn - but most hay is fed out side. That way it only takes me a few hours of mucking out..

Windy and 32 degrees BRRRR
Yesterday it was raining and 55 degrees and I could do chores with out a coat and now it is cold and blowing so hard we have weather alerts.

For years I fed the sheep in the barn and then spend weeks cleaning the barn out - Now I don't give em hay in the barn. I feed all hay out in the field till they are near lambing and then they can come in the barn - but most hay is fed out side. That way it only takes me a few hours of mucking out..
